Who would your current vote be for most improved player of the year? I'm thinking in the real NBA not just for fantasy purposes.
It's so hard to tell with this one. I've seen some lists who include guys like James Harden or Paul George. Both granted have had major improvements this year, but they were already pretty damn good. To me it seems like it should go to a player who was more ineffective last year than those guys. Harden as a 6th man in OKC was a crucial part of their playoff run, so it's not like he's turned from a scrub into an all-star.
I am probably forgetting some, but here is a list of the top 10 players (in no order) I think should at the very least be in the discussion. Some of them translate into fantasy, some don't.
And then a few who have really improved but IMO had too much value last year to be considered:
Paul George, James Harden, Jrue Holiday and Kemba Walker. And if we include players who have improved but already had value, it's hard not to include Lebron. He's always been incredible and as much as I personally dislike him he has had an amazing season.

I'd probably keep McGee. I'd consider Drummond only if you are 100% gonig to win and you think he'll play next week and you don't care about FT%... I like Andre Miller over Mike James still. I'd definitely grab Webster if you need 3's.... Hmm I can't remember any of your other questions. I also can't remember who you'd drop to grab Webster so don't drop any studs, but Webster's been on fire from behind the arc!
I like P George for the award. Like you said he was good last year, but he went from the number 3 or 4 option to the face of the franchise this in Indiana this year. Harden was already balling in OKC, so I don't think he improved as much as he just got more minutes and touches this year. I like everyone in that list, except Mullens and Bradley don't really belong in this conversation in my opinion. I f I had to pick outside of Harden and George, I'd go with Vasquez. Hornets haven't been winning, but he's gone from a backup scrub to the floor general this year for New Orleans, night and day difference in his on court swagger for him from last year.
