Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
I'm in a 12-team H2H auction keeper league (3 years, 3 keepers, $200 draft budget) and am currently 2nd. There's a huge gap between me and the 1st place team but he's been barely winning recently and if I can add to my team, I think I can win(I recently added Kobe and David West). In this league, you can keep a player for the price he was drafted for (that amount is reduced from auction draft budget next year) and if you have a player who was never drafted, you can keep him for Yahoo's default price for him next year. I've been discussing potential trades for Lee, Nash, or Jennings but was wondering what you guys think, there are three potential trades. Note that we also have cash exceptions in this league where managers can offer cash in next year's auction draft (as a result of a prior trade, I have $185 left). Here is the potential trade...
I get: David Lee (keeping price $30) + Steve Nash (keeping price $46)
I give up: Tiago Splitter (next year's Yahoo price) + Jarrett Jack (keeping price $1) + $10 cash exception
I get: Lee ($30) + Brandon Jennings ($29)
I give up: Splitter (next year's Yahoo Price) + Jack ($1) + $15 cash exception
I get: Lee ($30)
I give up: Splitter (next year's Yahoo Price) + $8 cash exception
I like either scenario both trades for the cost and while I'm paying cash...a good chance I can win the title with this trade. So is either trade good for me? and which one do you like better?
