I give Rudy Gay and Rajon Rondo in exchange for Monta Ellis, Chandler Parsons, and Andrew Bynum. Rondo is on the shelf for rest of season, and Gay is on the upswing in Toronto, but is Having healthy Ellis and Parsons with Bynum coming back a good deal?? Is Ellis as good as Gay as a keeper? I appreciate your comments.
Rondo and Bynum are both out right now and my expectations of Bynum coming back this season in any form that resembles last year are not all that hot. Swapping those two straight up is a fair deal for next year. That means for this season you are swapping Gay for Monta and Parsons. I think that's a real good deal for you this year, especially if Bynum beats the odds and makes a full comeback, you then would have made a killing on this deal. As far as who is the better keeper between Gay and Monta, I'd say Gay is, but considering how much you will be getting back this season it seems pretty worth it to me.
