Trade help : Dwight, Batum, or Blake

I'm in a 5 keeper league with Chris Paul, Lebron, Griffin, Varejao, Bynum and Horford already on my team. I've been offered Dwight for Griffin and Batum for Griffin.... Should I even do the trade? and which 5 would you keep?

    • I'd rather have Griffin than Howard. Both suck at FT's but at least Griffin has shown a small increase in it, and if you watch both of them shoot you will quickly realize that if either have a chance to improve upon that area of the game, it is Blake. I also would be worried about Howard's injuries and attitude both now and in the future. Howard, when healthy and interested in playing is an absolute beast on the boards and blocks, but Griffin's scoring, rebs, high assists for his position, nice steals and small but slow increase in blocks are worth more to me personally.

But I would also take Batum over Griffin in a heartbeat. Batum is a rare player who can basically do everything, and his arrow is still pointing up. He's doing it on a team with multiple other offense threats, so it's not like his offensive numbers are inflated due to being the only go-to guy. So if he gets traded in the future I don't think his stats will suffer.

If you trade for Batum, I'd keep Paul, Lebron, Batum, Horford and Bynum. I know Bynum is hurt, might not even play this year, and his future is cloudy. BUT his upside is tremendous, and even if he is a bust, your 4 other keepers will no doubt be better than any combo of 5 keepers from any other team in your league.

I would KILL to form a keeper league team around CP3, Lebron, Batum and Horford!
