It really depends on who is rating the player, but from what I've seen on these boards, these players are overrated:
Josh Smith, Rajon Rondo, Deron Williams, Blake Griffin, OJ Mayo, Monta Ellis, Demar Derozan, Demarcus Cousins, Steve Nash, Joe Johnson, Dwight Howard, Eric Gordon, Luol Deng, Greg Monroe, Tyreke Evans, Amare Stoudemire, Arron Afflalo, Ricky Rubio, John Wall, Marcus Thornton, Dion Waiters, Greivis Vasquez, Luis Scola, Jason Terry, Omer Asik, Jordan Crawford
People tend to only look at big names, points, assists, and rebounds to judge a player's value and forget about the other categories--that is the reason that most of the players I listed are overvalued.
Strange list. A lot of those players are pretty highly under rated (Vasquez, Deng), some are not over rated at all cause everyone has known they are middling at best for a long time (Tyreke, Scola), and some haven't even had a real chance to play yet this season (Rubio, Stoudemire, Wall, Gordon). Some are still developing and are returning great numbers on their way there (Monroe, Cousins, Waiters, Vasquez). Not sure what your thought process was on putting that list together, but it seems like you have some pretty scattered results.
If I had to pick the most over rated player it would be Wade because he has high name recognition, but generally can't play a whole season and often rides the bench at the end during H2H playoffs. He's returning 3rd/4th round value, yet people still like to think of him as top-5. Consistency is huge in fantasy basketball and Wade is lacking in the dependability department. I still think he's a great player (top-30 for sure), but certainly way over rated. Odd that he isn't on your list.
