Going forward in the short term Smith has the advantage. Without Felton, Kidd will run the show, but is too old to play heavy starter's minutes, meaning Smith is likely to have the ball in his hands more often. And we all know what happens when JR Smith has the ball in his hands, he shoots. His numbers could go up slightly without Felton, although I wouldn't be surprised to see an increase in scoring and shot attempts but a decrease in FG%.
Long term I like Teague though. He is the main man running the show in ATL and has no competition. Harris isn't a threat to steal minutes from him, and Lou Will can play SG or backup PG and is also not a threat to Teague. While in NY, Amare coming back could take some shot attempts away from Smith, while eventually Shumpert and Felton will also battle for minutes at the guard spots.
