    Thoughts on Avery Bradley

Does anyone believe he will produce solid fantasy numbers like he did last season because he has a great chance of becoming the starting pg for the celtics. I have a few disposable players in tiago splitter, isaiah thomas and glen davis that I can give up for avery.

    • I am a huge Celtics fan, kind of addicted really. I watch every game, pre game, local sports shows etc etc. LOL. Bradley has HUGE potential but it is anyone's guess as to how well he'll produce in a fantasy role this year. He has only shown for less than half a season what he can do as a starter and even though he's been in the NBA for a few years now, he still has less than a full NBA season of playing experience.
The additions of Courtney Lee, Jason Terry and Leandro Barbosa could effect Bradley's overall playing time. But I still see him having a significant role on this team, whether it ends up being a starting SG gig, or backing up both guard spots, I see him getting 30MPG minimum.
He just started to show his 3 point range last year, so if he can keep up his defensive skills and consistently hit that 3 he should have decent value.
But, who to drop for him is another question, and depends on the rest of your team.
I'm not sure I'd drop Mo Williams for A.B. Especially not until I heard a firm timetable of when Williams should return. He is much too valuable to drop for AB when healthy.
Big Baby would be a pretty good drop candidate to me, especially if you have other rebounders to pick up the slack.
It's hard to tell what Hedo's role will be on this new look Magic team, so even though the backcourt is crowded in Boston, I'd personally take Bradley over Turk. Turk was very inconsistent with a starting role last year, and now has players like Aflallo and Reddick really stepping it up for the Magic.

    • I am wondering the same thing. Hedo or Bradley? Which one is best pick up for long term?

    • Im in the same predicament, everything Ive been reading is hes gonna return to the starting lineup. What concerns me is the minutes available. I still think Terry and Lee are gonna eat into the minutes available, last year it was just Ray Allen contending and when he got hurt Bradley saw 30+ min on a regular basis. They love his defense which should open up more minutes, I'm considering dropping Alexey Sheved for him.

    • Coach Doc Rivers said he looked good out there in practice and has a great chance in returning on Christmas day. If he has a good game, I'd pick him up and drop Davis considering hes going to be out for 4-6 weeks from now.
