Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
I am in a 12 team h2h league my roster is like this:
SG- kobe, afflalo, ginobilli,
SF:deng, batum, leonard
PF: Randolph, favours, J. thompson
C: Monroe, pekovic
It is not a keeper league.. I am currently in sixth, and it is a 15 cat league and you start 10 positions. Looking at my roster I feel like I should be doing a lot better. Is there any place on my roster that I should improve on to put me over the edge? or should i wait out my current roster and hope for the best?
Also I'm not looking to trade Batum as i just made a trade where I sent off rondo, asik and beasley for paul, batum and ginobilli. (My FT%, 3pt and TO's were hurtin.)
I like your back court and your wing players, but your front court could use some help. Randolph and Monroe are nice but they don't give many blocks, Favors is hurt and minutes are hard to come by in UTah, and Pekovic has been under achieving. I'd try to maybe package 2 of your bigs for 1 elite big man. Try to find someone that could use some depth there.
Other than that, I think if your team can stay healthy you'll do pretty good. I think if it were my team I would want 1 more player with consistent assists though.
Even though Rondo is my favorite player and Asik is more valuable in leagues with multiple rebounding categories, I still like that trade you made. CP3 is better than Rondo so you upgraded at PG, Batum is lightyears ahead of Beasley so you upgrade there, and even though Asik has more value in your league, Asik for Gino isn't a bad deal.
So I guess if it were mine, I'd try to package Gino or Aflallo with 1 of your bigs for an elite big man, or a decent big man with blocks and a decent PG with assists.
