Drummond i know is more like a stash guy, beal has been playing well last week with wall/price out and eating +35 mins/game.
I am behind in 12 team roto league rebs/asts/3's/blks so either one of these guys will help but cant decide which one has better upside for long term add. any thoughts will be appreciated. thank you
I think Beal is the better pick overall. Especially since AJ Price is out. Crawford and Beal have been playing great since then, and if he keeps it up, the coach will have to find minutes for him even when John Wall returns. I think Wall returning would actually help Beal out, he will probably get less assists, but he will be more open on offense, and wall will be able to find him when he's open better than Crawford or Price could.
I'm a big fan of Drummond, but the consistency just isn't there yet. I think it has to do with how well Maxiell has been playing. Going into the year the coach probably figured he'll bring Drummond off the bench until he's acclimated to the NBA and then swap him and Maxiell out, but Maxiell has been a huge part of the Pistons this year.
When you factor in Drummond's inconsistencies and crazy low FT%, combined with the fact that your have decent bigs already, I say go with Beal.
