Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
He is absolutely killing my team......i can't believe I traded for this dude. He does nothing good. He was pegged by experts to have a break out season. But he is looking like a bust. Should I drop him for
Mike Dunleavy Jr.
You can always trade him away if you don't like his outlook for the rest of the season. Make sure you cannot find a suitor for George before you ever consider to drop him. From the business standpoint, just because he is not valuable to you does not mean he is not to others.
LOL. I dare you to dump him for Trevor Ariza. If you can't sit through a SG having a bad week or two, you are destined to lose badly. It's a long season and no player is immune to going through a slump. Vogel is asking George to be a distributor (not his best idea) and soon he will realize that's not working and start running some actual plays that get George an open look once in a while.

I am not just going to dump him for a scrub. I am a vet at this. I know patience is a virtue but I will say my patience is running thin with Paul. I need to see some signs. The only positives I can pull right now is that his is still getting 30 minutes with all his current woes.
Classic example of panicking early in the season... It's only 3 weeks in, we have MONTHS left to go. Some teams are taking longer than expected to gel together, including the Pacers and the Celtics. But I wouldn't just drop George. Like Dillon said, outside of his FG%, he is contributing in every category.
Aside from his abysmal shooting, he's contributing across the board. The guy just topped Reggie Miller's franchise record for threes made in a game just days ago! That said, I also expected more out of him and still do. The Pacers have no legit playmaker and they have been trying to get P George to fill that void. Obviously that is not playing to his strength. He's not a great ball handler. He's a good slasher, spot up shooter and a pretty solid defender, but the Pacers are not setting him up that way. I don't know what Vogel is trying to achieve, but whatever it is, it is not working to all of his players' strengths. West and Hill get theirs and everyone else is left hanging out to dry right now. George is too talented not to figure out how to get his sooner or later, I'd be patient with him as he is better than every one of the players you have listed there.
Richardson if you do drop him. I wouldnt the pacers need a little more time. Im stuck with Hibert and he is killing me but lets keep holding on. pacers should be coming around after the win tongiht

I hope your right. Cuz he got one more week to show me something. And its not even about him scoring points. He is struggling to contribute in other area that i thought he would be dominant in like steals, rebounds, and blocks.
With Roy, I have no idea what is going on with him. He just looks disinterested and sluggish. I hate his demeaner on the floor.
Who would of known that Danny Granger meant so much to the chemistry and balance of that team. And last year Danny had a down year..
Frank Vogul should be fired
