Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
I looked through each NBA teams schedules and compared them to the yahoo fantasy playoff schedule for my league like I usually do and realized I have some guys who play fewer games during those weeks.
Example: DHoward will only play 9 games over the 3 weeks of my playoffs, where as teams like Boston, Minnesota, Portland, Utah will play 12
My question is is it too early to start making trades to get guys who will play more often in the playoffs? I like Dwight, but come playoff time 3 games is a lot...Should I start making some deals?
it is too late to start thinking about number of playoff games...they are a huge factor in whether you win or lose the playoff matchups and you want your main cogs to have the most number of games...this is why i didn't draft anybody from golden state or la lakers on any of my head to head teams.

Lol, yeah it's WAY too late. 2 weeks into the season, and there is absolutley NO chance whatsoever that you can make this thing they call a "trade". What an idiot.
I get what he means, you should have thought about playoff schedule before your drafts. But it is definitely NOT too late to try to make up for it now. And it is never too early.
I would definitely consider making a trade that is "slightly in favor" of the other team to gain playoff games, but that all depends on what "slightly in favor" means, how many extra games you gain, and if it will hurt your chances of making the playoffs.
