Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
Okay so I'm in a 9-cat 12 team H2H league and my team is shown below.
1. (8) Josh Smith SF,PF
2. (17) Marc Gasol C
3. (32) Greg Monroe C
4. (41) Mike Conley PG
5. (56) Ersan Ilyasova PF
6. (65) Jrue Holiday PG
7. (80) Kenneth Faried PF
8. (89) Nikola Pekovic C
9. (104) Damian Lillard PG
10. (113) Gordon Hayward SG,SF
11. (128) Kawhi Leonard SG,SF
12. (137) Courtney Lee SG,SF
13. (152) Spencer Hawes C
The general consensus is that I am low on 3s so I've found some players on the waiver wire.
- Ben Gordon (Going to take the scoring load for Charlotte)
- Jeff Green (had a solid preseason)
- Chase Budinger (knocked down 3s in the preseason and has more minutes in MIN)
- Nate Robinson
- Alonzo Gee
- Jarrett Jack
- Jae Crowder
Who should I drop from my team and who should I pick up? Any and all help is appreciated.
I dont like Lee.. He's a 3rd string player in boston, lucky to get 20 mins a night at best.. Also im not sold on Leonard having a much better season then last year, but i wouldnt drop him because he's a 3 point shooter.
I dont like Gordon, being a Detroit fan, but he puts up 3's at a good rate. Unfortunately for fantasy purposes, I think he still has the longest active streak among starters without a double double, something like 450 games or whatever..
I get the feeling Green will be good, but not great, Robinson will be a monster starting in Chicago, but inconsistent as hell.. Personally, i think Jack is the best free agent there, but not a big 3 contributor.. Up to you though..

I agree that Lee is a 3rd string player but right now Avery Bradley is injured and JET could be going PG or SG. This opens up roughly 25-30 minutes a night for Lee and he showed last season he can knock down a three and provide steals. I will definitely drop him long before Bradley is back, but is he of more value than say Hawes since this team needed 3s to begin with?
youre gonna dominate on the boards and blocks, okay on assists, both fg and ft % are good, decent on three's but i think you need more threes. i would drop courtney lee for gordon, he'll help you with three's as well as help you w/ your ft %, the only weak ft shooter on your team is josh smith, gordon will help with that as well cuz hes a career 87 % ft shooter! GOODLUCK!
Ben Gordon is the best option IMO
He could score even more this year. He is great at FT%. 86%. Decent 44% shooting. Could ship in steals as well. Maybe drop lee?
Might try a low ball for Klay Thompson of Hayward and hawes or pekovic

Hang tight and make a few trade moves along the way. Lillard, Faried and Hayward will be pleasant surprises for you. A bad category in H2H is not as bad as in roto, so would be reluctant to drop anyone quite yet. Try to deal Pekoviv in a low key trade to get a SG, but nothing drastic quite yet.
