Help with picks in a keeper league

We have had a keeper league now for seven years, this is the first time I have had a decent draft so I am having it hard to figure out on which position to take first and who is the best player available. Stats in our league are custom so we go head to head each week with 8 cats on the line. PTS, FGM,FTM,3PT,REB#$%$,STL and BLK. So it is a little different then your normal yahoo league. My keepers are as the follows; wade, c.paul, wall, kobe, melo, bargnani and dirk. I have picks 6, 9 and 12 so I have three picks in the first two rounds which is big, I wanna add a pg/sg, sg/sf and a pf/c. My options are lin, lou.williams, t.parker and a.affalo for pg/sg. Sg/sf we have pierce, k.thompson, ai2 and for pf/c we have bosh, gasol, boozer and amare. Looking for some advice on what ya’ll think. Thanks!

    • hey i have always played a non-conventional roto league, so i do not understand how keeper leagues work exactly, but, as shane told you befor WAO what a team man, with good options for improvement, i think the top dogs are Parker, Pierce and Pau, but, maybe you can't draft all of them you know, so think of 3 things, 1 which position is weaker in your team, 2 which FA pool runs deeper, & 3 Wich player you like the most. I think your team needs 1 of the big guys, cus your guards are astonishly good... you got to be smart, analise your rivals posible needs, see what they draft. if i were you i would pick first Parker, then Depending on who is available Gasol and Pierce. If Gasol is taken and Pierce is free then take Pierce with the 9 pick and grab the best big available with the 12 .

    • First of all, whoa you got good keepers. Get Parker, Pierce and Gasol and you have the best team I have ever seen.
