Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
Warriors get: dwight howard
Lakers Get: Steve Nash 2nd rounder from warriors
Magic Get: Monta ellis, Epke udoh(2nd year player takes over a good situation to develope),
suns get: unprotected top 20 pick and 2nd rounder from lakers
note: this trade will only happen if orlando tells lakers they will not trade with them
A better scenario would look like this, but I still don't think the suns would do it, not because of the value they would get but because of the revamping of the whole team's looks
Warriors give: Ekpe Udoh, Monta Ellis, both picks, Dorrell Wright
Warrios get: Dwight, Grant Hill
Lakers give: Pau, 1st round pick
Lakers get: Steve Nash, Channing Frye
Magic give: Dwight Howard, Jameer Nelson
Magic get: Ekpe, Monta, Pau, Lakers 1st round pick
Suns give: Nash, Grant Hill, Frye
Suns get: Jameer Nelson, Dorrell Wright, both warrior picks
This is also assuming that Dwight would want to go to the GSW, which I think that he wouldn't.

That would leave these lineups:
Warriors: PG Curry, SG Rush, SF Hill, PF: D Lee, C: Howard
Lakers: PG Nash, SG Kobe, SF: who knows?, PF: Frye, C: Bynum
Magic: PG Monta, SG J Rich, SF Turkoglu, PF: Anderson, C: Pau (possibly invert PF and C or move Anderson to SF, Pau to PF and Ekpe to starting C)
Suns: PG: Nelson, SG: Dudley, SF: Wright, PF: Morris/Warrick C: Gortat
For the Suns, this is a much more defensively minded team, the Lakers and the Warriors have championship caliber teams, and the Magic coukd have a team they could be proud of.
the draft pick is from the lakers. It is top 20 protected, which means it has to be in top 20. Warriors coach preaches defense and dwight is the best defender in nba. For the suns, nash is 37(almost 38), they need value for him while they can get it
This makes no sense for the Suns or the Warriors. Why would the warriors give up one their best player for an albeit MVP in Dwight Howard when they would also have to give a great young player in Udoh (drafted fifth overall two years ago). Also, why would the Suns want two picks? Especially when neither of them are from a team like the Cavs, T-Wolves, or Wizards.Who would they even get that pick from?
Lastly why would howard want to go to golden state? I think he'd rather stay with the chemistry and experience in Orlando then move to a confused jumble of roster spots in the GSW. He wouldn't resign with the warriors.
