Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
Yes I believe this is a fair trade.
Love is better than Griffin.
But Matthews/Jennings is better than Deng, so I think it is definitely a respectable offer.
If you get this trade, I like it for you, like I said Love > Griffin. And Matthews may or may not have a year like last, since Crawford, Wallace and Batum are all there to get in his way as far as fantasy value is concened.
And Jennings has low assist numbers for a PG and a crazy turnover rate and poor FG%. I owned him last year, and it seemed like 1 week he would be the reason why I won, and hte next he'd be the reason why I lost lol.
I've always been a fan of Deng and think he is under-rated in both fantasy and real life.
Good Luck PatMan!

I really like Matthews and I would hate to lose him. Especially if he breaks out like he did last year, but Portland now has Raymond Felton who is also a stat stuffer like Matthews, so one of them would end up taking a huge hit in production.
This was about as fair of a deal I could think of. I just wanted to know if whether or not I was offering up too much. It was a toss up between sending him Jennings or OJ Mayo.
I would take that from you any day...
You might be giving up too much actually, Mathews is a stat stuffer and I think he will break out even more this year than last. And Deng will likely take a hit with Rip entering the court with him.

I thought about the Rip/Deng situation, but my best option at SF is Grant Hill. With Deng and Love on my team along with the rest of my team, I should have enough firepower to make a serious run at Durant.
