Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
Finished my first live basketball draft. Ten team league. Since I am new to this, I'm wondering if I made any mistakes. Most of us in the league are new to fantasy basketball, so I'm trying to draft better in the future.

12. (114) Jameer Nelson (Orl - PG)
13. (127) Kris Humphries (NJ - PF)
Anybody overated on my team and not worth a roster spot? Or anyone I drafted too early? Thanks for your help.
This really all depends on what type of league you are in. You are going to hurt in 3's, assists, and steals really really bad. After getting two great PF in the first two rounds, you should have gone with a PG/SG. But hopefully with all these Forwards you can get same trades going.
Anyone know why Devin Harris is ranked so low? He's ranked around Humphries. I dont get it?

The league is head to head with the standard scoring categories. I've dropped Nelson (PG/Orl) and added Jack (PG/SG - NO).
If I trade for a SG, what sort of bait should I use and who might I target? Thanks for your thoughts.
Your team looks pretty solid IMO. The only position you need is another SG. You are solid at PG and PF/C. I don't see any glaring holes, but you will definitely need another SG.
You are solid in Pts, Assist, RBs as evidenced by your coverage at the PG and PF/C positions. You might need another 3pt Shooter and dedicated shotblocker. The best solution is to wait until the season starts so you can better gauge your weaknesses. Your roster should have you very competitive from day one.
your guards are pretty weak, and i dont think you will do well in a couple categories with that team, but i think you let a lot of good players fall to you so you have a lot of talent on your team. if you can make some trades your team could be awesome
