If you think they really are that similar, then it's not really important whether or not you make this trade, as you'd be giving an apple for, well, an apple. Still, I think Pierce looks fiercer, bigger, badder, and better than he did last season. He's rebounding better than ever, his %'s are great, and he's making scoring look easy. He's also "the guy" on the C's, whereas Mayo has to take a backseat to Z-Bo and Rudy.

I know but when I looked at last years #s OJ had more Points, 3s, Assists, and Steals. Rebounds were almost identical. Pierce's %s were slightly better and TO were a wash.

I say yes... Pierce has been scoring/shooting well. Just look at those %'s.
