Strategy: Punt FT% and PTS
Originally I drafted D12 and was going to just punt FT%, but as the draft proceeded and I played out week one... it appears my team (which I attempted to build around his strengths) sucks at scoring but because of Rondo and the supporting cast, I am strong in FG%/OREB/DREB/AST/ST/BL/TO...
Now here is the situation... A component of Dwights strength's is no longer needed - PTS. Though he contains most of the components I think a trade for someone with the same stats (minus the points of course) could benefit me.
Since there isn't anyone on the same value level as Dwight for me, I need to do a two person trade. Probably someone like a Noah and PG/SG that plays into my strategy with the high assists, steals, and low TO...
any thoughts as to players that will fit into the strategy? Thanks in advance

yeah evans is a maybe but maybe its too soon to keep the boards up.
Do you guys thinks its too soon to pull the trigger and offer the D12/Holiday for Kidd/McGee trade?
Granted Jrue got 13 assists tonight and McGee hasn't done much except the 7 blocks on Sunday. Will this trade work for the better of my strategy even if McGee only get 8 boards and 1.5 blocks a night?
Thanks again guys
i like the punt pts strat this year and agree with other peoples recomendations for you.
heres some players with high ast/to ratios with stls to consider.
The first guy that comes up in my head is Jason Kidd. He is the epitome of high assist/reb/stl with zero points. The only downside to you trading Howard is that you get a HUGE loss of blocks. Given the makeup of your team and strategy that could potentially prove dangerous. Unless the guy who has Kidd also has Javalle McGee, then you could work out something like that because you'd be getting McGee's boards and blocks with no points and Kidds assists/boards/steals without the points.

actually the guy who has Kidd DOES have McGee... I know he had a good preseason, but I just want to be sure he's off to the right start before making that switch.
It sure is harder this year to get someone that's 9+ assist/gm than someone who gets 12+ boards and 2 blocks a game, disregarding the rest of their stat line. I'll give my lineup a week or two and see how Curry recovers. By that time McGee will prove himself worthy or not. Then again, if he's a badass by then... the other guy might not want to part with him.
I can always pick up Oden later on to help with this strategy....

I checked out the team with Kidd and unfortunately he is low in big men - period. But based on the strategy, what's your thoughts on this trade? The guy is a newbie and might bite if you guys think its a good exchange:
Dwight and Jrue Holiday (me)
Josh Smith and Stephen Curry*
*yeah I know he's injured but I'm okay with that
