Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
draft is soon. i have first pick. obviously KD is where i'm going. then on the turn i plan to go heavy on the bigs. I see alot of PG depth in the draft. 12 teams, h2h, standard scoring.
I'm thinking taking fliers on the Guards. Will this work?
Actually, Bigs are much more abundant than solid PGs.
You can get nice after 4th round bigs like Scola, Hibbert, Varejao, Hickson, Cousins...
After round 3 the PGs left over will be Tony Parker, Conley and Jameer... Not bad, but.. you know.
I wouldn't skimp on the PGs. I'd take a C and a PG come the round 2-3 turn (Horford and Westbrook) then a PG and SF/PF on the round 4-5 turn, like Rose and Jeff Green)
Then even out. I would probably wait a little later for the SG/SFs since there are a lot of sleepers with those positions like Kleiza and Daye.
Good Luck :o)

After round 3 only PGs like Parker, Conley, Nelson. Are u kidding !?
I picked Felton in 6th and Holiday in 7th. And both are gonna have nice PGs numbers this season. Parker, Conley, Nelson are much much worse in fantasy than Felton and Holiday.
But I agree with you, that picking 2-3 PG in 1st 5 rounds is a good strategy
wow! i do not like picks 45-60. I ended up getting Noah and Wall at the end of 4 and beginning 5. I'll target Millsap next. I like his potential for a huge season. Since i passed on the SGs(JRich, Martin, SJax) I'll look for Mayo. I could pursue Hibbert too.
In 2nd and 3rd round I would take one big man and one PG.
You should look for players like Zach Randolph, Al Horford, Brook Lopez. If not available look for Al Jefferson.
And PG - if you have a luck there will be available Nash or Rondo. If not, try to get Kidd, Roy or Rose.
