    Kaman or Camby?

If I was in a draft where Camby was still available (certainly the first 2 to 3 rounds), and I wanted offensive stats, I would pick someone else entirely. Kaman probably had the season of his life last year, and there are far better options that early in the draft. Kaman is a good value pick later on, but you're looking far too narrowly that early in the draft. Kaman is not in the class of Dwight Howard, Al Jefferson, Carlos Boozer, etc.

      • Camby's value is just much higher than Kaman's because he's dominant in blocks and rebounds, and above average for his position in assists, steals, and limiting turnovers. If you have Kaman, either keep him because you think he'll be good, or trade him because you think he won't or you're looking for a different type of player. The Yahoo or ESPN rankings should be helpful in figuring out what range of players to target.
