Draft and Trade Talk Message Board
yea just read the latest news. damn I hope he's back soon. I traded for him 3 weeks ago and I've gotten 2 partially played games outta him so far =(. my team's still in 2nd in a close race in a deep league but he'd def put me over the top.
I was also reading that the actual injury (small labral tear) isn't too serious of an injury, but it just takes a bit longer to heal 100%. and the wiz want him to wait til it's 100% for their playoff push down the stretch. I pray he comes back at the latest the end of next week.
again. trade him if you can. heres the latest word on him from rotoworld.
The Wizards announced on Wednesday that injured forward Caron Butler has a small labral tear of his left hip joint.
Butler, who has missed 10 straight games, won't play on Friday or Sunday and will be re-evaluated next week. Since he's not on the trip with the team, details on his recovery procedure and a return date are as sketchy as ever. But for now, go ahead and plan on benching Butler again next week. It remains to be seen if the injury was made even worse when he returned for two games after suffering the original injury, but it sounds likely.
