  • Trade Salmons now?

    Do you guys think he can keep up his current production with Artest coming back and with him having to split time with Francisco Garcia, Orien Green, and Quincy Douby at PG and with Artest at SF? Thanks.

        FYI, Salmons was considered for the starting PG in Philly a few years ago, and did start there frequently in college. It is not that ridiculous that he would move to PG as Garcia is starting there now. However, Reggie Theus has said that Garcia will keep the starting PG spot when Artest comes back. As far as Douby and Greene, are they suddenly going to become great PG's just because Ron Artest is back at SF? Somehow, I don't think so.

        Also, not out of the question that Artest would move to PF considering the Kings crappy play.

        He played PG a few times last year but I agree, Salmons isn't a PG but neither is Garcia. What I guess they could do is move Kevin Martin to PG and play Salmons at SG but if Martin could play PG I would think they would've done it by now. What do you think of trading Salmons and Shaq for Hinrich and Bogut?

      Would it be worth it to package him with Maggette to get Hinrich? I could use Hinrich's 3s, steals, and assists but Maggette looks real good right now and Salmons could have some value going forward even with Artest coming back. Not to mention Hinrich's been struggling lately.
