Who to Start Message Board
jammed myself up in a deep league with no clear flex option. its a ppr league and i have some upside guys but who wins me the week??
1. Mike Floyd WR ARI
2. Giovani Bernard RB Cin
3. Golden Tate WR SEA
4. Alshon Jeffrey WR CHI
If Marshall was out -- then I'd say Jeffrey.....otherwise its a toss between Tate or Floyd -- and only because Floyd is battling Roberts for 2nd look.
Bernard will be timeshare with Law Firm - but good potential to break into RB1
Hard to see ... I view a lot of these guys in similar workload tiers.
I'm going to immediately throw out Jeffrey. He might end up scoring the most this week now that I've said that, but I just don't like him or his context on the team. It's the Brandon Marshall and Matt Forte show in Chicago. Maybe Trestman gets them to the point that they can support a third receiver, but then there's Martellus Bennett to account for as well.
I like Tate on the year, but Carolina's pretty solid against the pass, and I think Seattle focuses on pounding the ball on the ground.
Which leaves Bernard and Floyd. I really like both of these guys, but Gio got all the goal-line carries in the preseason, and he's seemed to have carved out his role as the passing down back. Floyd, I'm more inclined to take a wait and see approach.
So my vote is for Bernard.

i broke it down the same way and was torn between the two as well. i like gio to break out this year (kinda depending on it as well). i made a foolish trade to start the year and put myself in this position. i traded my flex djax and best rb doug martin to upgrade my te and i personally think rb as i got lesean mccoy. i beleve the 15-20 extra plays a week will result in big numbers for mccoy but im kinda alone there everyone believes martin is the better back.
