Trade Randall Cobb and Andre Johnson for Julio Jones and Wes Welker? I'm in a 6-team standard league. I have Dez Bryant, Cobb, Johnson, Danny Amendola, Mike Wallace and Tavon Austin. We can start a max of 4 WRs a week (3 WR and a possible flex).
I love Julio this year, and I'm not a huge fan of Andre but he was best WR on board at my pick. I think Cobb will be highly productive all year, but Julio's upside is tremendous to me. In my opinion, it's Randall Cobb straight up for Julio and Andre straight up for Welker. Do you guys think it's worth it? Thanks
In this shallow of a format every team is deep in talent and it becomes a matter of whether you have enough of the super elite players. If your analysis is that Julio has a break out year then do it. I wouldn't because I like Cobb's upside as much in his offense as Jones and AJ should post significantly better numbers than Welker. BUT, again the equation is different in very shallow leagues and if Jones is top 5 and Cobb and AJ only around 11 or 12 it becomes a trade you should make. One variable which is extremely important, of course, is whether return stats count. If so, Cobb is far and away the best of these 4. Good luck.
