I'm starting Washigton for, as flawed as their defense is, it's playing for something rather than playing out the string. Yes, the Jets offense is somewhere between poor and abysmal, but effective football...particularly defensive football...is significantly tied to effort and tell me what effort you saw vs a pretty middling Carolina offense at home last week? Half empty stands, a coaching staff and GM headed out the door, the most turnover prone QB in the NFL...what is it that sparks any effort?
