I'm having a hard time choosing either one.
Romo vs Pit- plays a late afternoon game which I like, but he plays against a Pit team that was just embarrassed by Rivers plus he may not have his best receiver in Dez
Dalton @ Phi - plays on Thursday night which I don't like given the thursday night track record, but he plays against a Phi secondary that has thoroughly struggled. Unfortunately I go against AJ Green this week so any TD's to him kill me.
WHO DO I CHOOSE??!?!?!?! Someone convince me!
Very tough call, but I would look at what you need and how your team stacks up against your opponent.
I think Dalton is the safer bet. If you need 10-15 points and let the rest of your team carry the way then that might be the way to go. But, if you are the under dog and need a great performance Romo might be your man. Pitts D is not what it used to be, and even though Romo is the definition of hit or miss I like his chances of going for 300 and 3 td's more than Dalton.
I would go with Dalton. The Steelers can be tough (although they made Philip Rivers look talented last week), but I like Dalton's matchup better. Plus, this way, if your opponent gets points from AJ Green, you are getting some as well.
Dalton Imo, Bengals D should get him the ball back. Eagles Coverage hasnt played well. the biggest downside i see to Dalton is its a Thursday game, and they have mostly been duds. Romo at best has a one handed Dez, and pitsburgh d is stout anyway. Im also a Bengals fan so ........best of luck
Green didn't catch a TD last week for the first time since........I can't remember. Haha. You know Dalton will give him plenty of looks Thursday. This is a tough one, because Romo seems to play better on the road than @ home. I'd still go with Romo on this one though. He'll have Austin, and I think Witten will have a big game.
