Who to Start Message Board
Hey answer mine quick then i will answer yours! So heres the deal i have Ben Roethlisberger and Mike Vick and it looks like the both may not play this week. So knowing that i was offered RGIII and Steven Jackson for Chris Johnson and Michael Vick last week, i declined it because i needed cj this week. Do i re-offer that trade, Chris Johnson also has a bye this week so i would have to start donald brown or pierre thomas if i dont offer this trade.
QB- Mike Vick and Ben Roethlisberger
RB- Jamaal Charles, Chris Johnson, Donald Brown, Pierre Thomas, Ben Tate
WR- Eric Decker, Stevie Johnson and Antonio Brown
TE- Jimmy Graham and Jared Cook
Kicker- Matt Prater and Greg Zeurlein
Def- Seahawks and Rams
300+ passing yards 3pts and 400+ is 6pts
passing TD is 4 pts each
Rushing yards 100+ 3pts and 200+ is 6pts
same for recieving
so do i offer this?
Honestly? I drop Roethlisberger at this point (3-6 weeks out) and pick up a guy from waivers. I hold on to Vick. You don't want to roll with Charles + the timeshare crew as your RBs, you just don't. If I do ANYTHING with your roster I try to move Graham for a 2nd tier TE + WR combination, your WR situation is grim my friend. Also why are you carrying two kickers and any defense but the Seahawks at this point? Drop Cook, a kicker, and the Rams for actual useful depth at RB, QB, and WR! Also : RGIII is hitting the rookie wall right now. Don't expect what we saw in the first half of the season from here on out ... he's been effectively neutralized in two straight games. Buyer beware!
I would offer it out there - certainly not as attractive from the other end now, but worth a shot.
here's mine: Trust in Gore?
Starting RBs are Michael Turner and Frank Gore
Gore has an awful matchup against CHI - my gut says to press on, but my options are
Reece @ NO (currently starting at flex)
Mendy vs. BAL (not sure if playing)
Sproles @ OAK (not sure if playing)
there's a few gems out there on there on waivers - Ivory @ OAK, LaRod @ ATL, Tate vs JAX, D.Thomas @ BUF..... thoughts?
even though i'd never buy Steven Jackson myself, I think it's an acceptable trade, but only if you trade Big Ben for RB help. RGIII is completely reliable at QB, and IMO, he's a must-start, not a "play by the match-ups" QB. I'd make this trade and then immediately look to trade a Roethlisberger/Charles or a Roethlisberger/Jackson package for an upgrade at RB. I wouldn't want to rely on Charles and Jackson ROS. I'd probably line up another trade even before you make this one.
its a tough call because u hurt ur RB depth a lot. what QBs do u have on the wire?
also drop antonio brown for kendall hunter or DHB? im loaded at wr with harvin, jordy, cruz, rice and amendola. also i have gore and im worried about them resting him down the stretch
