We keep 4 keepers in a 12 team league
I have Stafford Welker Austin and Bradshaw
NOTE: I have two first round picks and no second round pick
Trade is as following
I give: Stafford Welker Austin and my two first round picks
I get: Brady Cruz R.White his 2nd and 4th rd picks
What to do?
I really don't wanna loose those 2 high picks but is it all worth it?
dont even consider that trade. Keeper rankings are different than regular rankings. Keeper ranking at QB are rodgers 1, newton 2 and stafford 3. What you are giving up player wise is more than you are getting and that does not even count getting screwed with draft picks. You have a shot at trent richardson who will be an amazing keeper. DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER THIS TRADE.
Don't do this trade. Brady and Stafford are a wash if he stays healthy. Roddy is slightly better then Welker but both could fall off a little this year. Cruz has had one good year, Austin is coming of an injury year so that is about even also. You would be giving up two picks in the top 12 for no real upgrades.
It kind of depends on who is available. If there are two guys out there that you can pick up to make your team rock solid, then no reason to give up what you have. Some player's have off years, so you can never assume that R. White or Cruz will be just as good this year as last, especially since last year was the first year for Cruz to shine, now he will likely see a lot more attention.
Still, if it were me, I would take it because of how much of an upgrade you get from Stafford to Brady. Do you think you can get any decent depth with those 2nd and 4th rounders though? That's your question and your answer.
