Who to Start Message Board
hey guys, i have the week 10 position rankings and projections posted on my blog at www.hawkball.com so feel free to check them out if you have any start/sit questions. otherwise post your questions here and i will try to keep up. -hawk
QB: P. Manning
WR: L. Fitzgerald
WR: S. Johnson
RB: R. Rice
RB: P. Hillis
W/T: J. Tamme
W/R: L. Blount
Are there any changes that i should make to my line up? this week is a must win. Im not in a ppr and i dont need to play a TE so should i play anyone in front of tamme or will he put up good numbers again?

your starters look like what i would do as well. i agree with miles austin on the bench, it doesnt look good for him against the giants d this week so i think it is definitely worth starting tamme over him.
I have a really nice problem: too many good choices.
QB: Schaub or Orton?
I like Schaub against Jville's crappy secondary, and KC is doing ok, but Oakland pulled them apart last week and Orton is godly good this year.
WR: I have Reggie Wayne, Brandon Lloyd, and Steve Johnson. I'm obviously going to flex Arian Foster over any of these guys, but I have no idea who to sit. Johnson agains Detroit is tempting, especially considering Johnson's performance this Sunday, but Lloyd is scary good this season, and can I actually sit Wayne, ever?
Thanks in advance for any help!

gotta love that problem. at QB its a toss up, but i do think schaub has the advantage based on matchup so i would roll with him.
very tough call at WR. i think you gotta start wayne no matter what just because of his QB and offense he is in...and not collie is likely out so that should mean even more looks to wayne. so i would say wayne for sure, then i do think lloyd has a slight edge over sjohnson this week. but honestly i dont see any advantage for one over the other at this point.
hawk, it's bao again. as i roll into the playoffs, for my bench guys, do i drop my seattle players, lynch and williams, for guys who might do something explosive like ajirotutu and burleson? they're both available. thanks!

hey bao, glad to see you back for more.
the seattle question is interesting. i think i would keep the RB and then yes drop Williams for probably Ajirotutu. Rivers as his QB is clearly an advantage over no Matt Stafford in Detroit for Burleson...and who knows for the QB in Seattle for mike williams. i think the upside of ajirotutu is worth it.

my 2 picks are Calvin and Boldin. although with matt stafford out, its hard to know just what to expect from Calvin. lets hope shaun hill can play this week, and then calvin should be fine.
in the flex i like brandon lloyd. i dont think the RBs are worth it this week for you.

yep i agree on starting Eli over Brady
for your bench, i would probaby go with Roddy...but its hard to bench any of those 3. i might agree on benching Turner if i know roddy was 100% healthy, but since we cannot be certain, i think the goal line TD potential of Turner is the way to go.
I am a first year owner,i am 4 out of 8 in my league and i really want to finish strong.I am having trouble picking this week, any help would be welcome, thanks alot.2-2/flex.

my picks to start for your team would be
fitzgerald, hines ward
in the flex i would go with either rmoss, thomas jones, or jeremy maclin. with moss and thomas jones being the 2 top choices....and out of that i would probably take the RB route and start thomas jones
