Who to Start Message Board
At home versus Detroit seems to make Smith look like the better of the two, but last week Kurt Warner only got 228 yards, 1 TD & 1 INT for less than 10 points. Granted Oakland was shut down by Denver.
Go back to week 14 and Joe Flacco goes 230 for 1 TD vs Det. Peyton Manning however got 220 yards and 4 TDs vs Denver (he did have 3 INT's) but ended the day with over 20 pts.
Point here is a good quarterback/team versus Denver could do well especially Philly at home the way they've been playing. Detroit has held QB's to 10 or less pts the past 2 weeks.
Anyone in this situation and struggling to decide who has the better day today?
Consider the RBs being played too. Frank Gore is capable of dining on the run defense, while Westbrook, Weaver, McCoy and even Vick are behind McNabb.
I'm in the same boat, contemplating Smith, but Big Ben is a better play this week.
Start McNabb. If he finds Jackson, he'll give you HUGE benefits.

tough one especially with the contronversy and lack of production last week, however with the Saints loss, Farve and & Minn up against division rivalry late in the season. Smith on the other hand at home coming off a mediocre performance versus DET.
I think your call is closer and would probably go with Smith.
