Who to Start Message Board
Who should I start at QB with Brady on a bye? I've got Huard as my backup, but I could pickup Warner (who is going against a terrible pass D in DET) or get McNabb in a trade.
So, in place of Brady, do I go with Huard, Warner, or McNabb?
Detroit has effectively shut down its last three opponents. I don't think you can say they are "terrible against the pass" at the moment. They were early in the season, but they are a team rolling on a high right now. Arizona, meanwhile, has dropped three in a row. So, I would be hard pressed to start Warner.
If you can get McNabb cheaply, he would probably be your best bet. While Philly has been struggling, he's at least been improving over his performance early in the season. Washington has a pretty generous defense, as well. But, Huard has a doable matchup as well and is playing at home. With Johnson out, I'm hard pressed to believe KC will be running it all that much.
I'm in the same position with Brady on bye and had originally stashed Warner to play for me this week against DET. However, I'm now getting skittish after the DRUBBING that the DET D put on DEN last week. Will that confidence boost hurt Warner will has a tendancy to turn the ball over as it is?
My other option is JP Losman against MIA.
Losman or Warner?
I would probably lean toward Warner. He definitely has the best receivers, faces a relatively weaker defense, and will likely need a lot of points. McNabb faces a pretty solid Wash defense, and Huard has less weapons and in less talented...
