Can I reinstate a league that a commissioner canceled because he got mad?

I belong(ed) to a league where the commissioner promoted active participation. One team owner didn't participate so he started making roster moves on his team (last week). Several owners (me included) cried foul and he got mad and canceled our league.
Does anyone know if it is possible to have one of the other team owners (me) made the commissioner so we can reinstate our league and continue to play? It is a very competitive league and the one owner who didn't participate was in last. The commissioner started making moves on that team for whatever reason and other owners said that wasn't the right thing to do. He complained that he was too stressed out to deal with all the complaints and cancelled our league (put on hold, is how he put it).
I want to get my team back and continue the league. I'm sure other owners feel the same. Does anyone know if this is possible or am I out of luck after working hard on my team for half a season?

    • If you guys are looking for another league to join message me ASAP. I have several openings. fargofantasybaseball[at]hotmail

    • If he deleted the league, it's gone. You may get lucky and be able to retrieve it by going to league history, but that probably will not work because the season is still ongoing. Sorry you got stuck with a "stressed out" commissioner. Hey, If you need a team just to keep you baseball fantasy fix going, I have two last place teams in a H2H keeper league in need of replacement managers.

    • Did he literall delete the league or what? Need some clarification here? Or did he just lock all teams?

First off, if all he was doing was giving the bottom team a competitive lineup, not exactly the worst thing in the world.

Anyways, if he completely deleted the league, nothing you can do. If the league is still there, you could make a new league, and you could be commish, and enter rosters manually so they are the same for all the teams. Then you just need to find a manager to take the team that the commish had. You'd all be playing from a 0-0 record though in a short race the rest of the season.

    • in private leagues, commissioner is god. move on unfortunately
