Please forgive me if I'm redundantly adding a new thread.
I have a question about how Yahoo Sports determines the positions listed for a given player. I've seen this a few times, so this is a general question. But, to illustrate my, Yangervis Solarte is listed by Yahoo as a shortstop. In actuality he is much more of a versatile utility player. He's already played 2B and 3B this season , and he's advertised as being able to play at least one OF spot. I'd pick him up if his listed positions were more accurate (like Martin Prado - listed as 2B 3B OF .... Solarte should at least be 2B SS 3B if not OF as well).
Is there any way to contact Yahoo to make this type of suggestion? Thanks for any advice.
You have to start five games at a position to become eligible at that position or play ten games there...
Yahoo takes the position that they played in the minors to set their position, that is why the Tigers Nick Castellanos is listed initially as an OF...

When does that get applied to the player? Carlos Santana started his 5th game at 3B last night and as of this morning he still does not have that 3B availability. I figured it would have been applied during the over night processing for last night.
Yahoo has a set number of games a person must play at a position to get eligibility. There is a tab you can check to see how many games a guy has played at each position, and how many more until Yahoo gives him hat eligibility.
