Commissioner Corner Message Board
I run a competitive league. I can't stress that enough. I have managers who make over a hundred moves a season from trades, to waiver adds, etc. I made 114 last baseball season. Gotta set the tone!
*Note: I have no problem replacing a manager who fails to be active. Why play this, if you aren't playing to win? You can't win if you quit halfway through the season. It's unacceptable.
Yes, this is still just a hobby for my league. We don't get paid to sit around and roam the waivers (how epic would that be though?). But we take that hobby just a tad bit more serious than your average Yahoo standard. We expect managers to be *and remain* active and competitive throughout the season.
I run a 12 team, H2H league, w/ 35 innings pitched limit, etc. We are halfway full already and looking for 6 more managers willing to join and compete. I won't accept everyone who responds, I gotta be honest about that. Looking for the right guys to join.
If you have any questions or would like an opportunity to join, message me d.embley at rocketmail

Brandon, shoot me an email so I can further discuss some things about the league with you. I am not accepting everyone, looking for only the right candidates to build a successful keeper league for seasons to come. Thanks!

Nope, not for money. But it runs as competitive (if not more) as a money league, from what I have experienced. Pride is something you can't put a price on...and if you have 12 managers all going for that #1 spot it makes for an awesome season. A good league= good managers.
