    Record Book--Pitcher Streaks

I am in an annually renewed league (daily roster mgmt) and have a question regarding the league's "Record Book".

I have been leading in "Pick Offs" since early May and was a week away from taking over the all-time best in this category. One week ago I lead by 3 pick offs. On Sep. 3rd, the closest player got a pick off and decreased my lead to 2 (me having 9 pick offs, him now 7). Yesterday, Friday Sep. 6th, that player scored another 2 pick offs, tying with me (9-9).

The "Record Book" streak statistic, however, now says that I have the best season lead from 2013-05-08 to 2013-09-03 for 116 consecutive days, and that I have a new current streak of 2 days.

This doesn't add up considering that my lead got tied just yesterday (2013-09-06). Also, nobody ever passed me by, unless a value was manually changed for a very short time just to break up my streak, if that's actually possible.

Any ideas? Thanks for your response!

    • At the risk of sounding insensitive, really? You are worried about the pickoff streak? How are you doing in the standings? You are talking about a free website for hosting leagues, that periodically can't keep or post stats accurately (especially in playoffs?). Maybe send a note along to Yahoo directly if you feel that strongly about it.

      • Thanks for your reply. Other than that: sure I am. I'm leading this league, and if I also have the chance to break one of the streak-records that's been existing for a few years and put down my name in that list, then I'll try my best (FanGraphs comes to mind). It's a stats-game after all, and I'm a bit competitve ;-)
