Should I allow draft picks to be traded in a non-keeper league?

We did the last two years, but many abused it. They decided to trade all their draft picks for good players, then ignore the draft use the same strategy again the following year, so I have banned it so far. Can anyone make an argument for it? I'd like to allow it, but don't want to see it abused again.

    • Maybe you didn't phrase it correctly, but how did they "ignore the draft". Did they just pull a team from FA after the draft? Ans; Make it a keeper league, add balance to the keepers to include SP, IF, OF, and rookies. Do that and the Pick traders won't have partners on the good players.

      • Basically they trade away all of their 1st,2nd,3rd, 4th, etc. rounders and just end up drafting terrible players at the end of the draft, about the 15th-25th rounds, and just improve their team by getting rid of their draft picks again. They use no strategy and just go after big names year in and year out. I don't want to make it a keeper league until next year, because of the imbalance of players on different teams due to different draft picks.
