Unique 7x7 League -- FAAB / waiver budget -- weekly roster changes -- daily lineups
I'm looking for committed GMs who will participate for an entire season for a unique league: free agents stay on waivers the entire season with acquisitions via the FAAB (free-agent acquisition budget). Waiver claims are processed only once a week, on Mondays, and then your roster is set for that week (but you can set line-ups every day). This means fewer, but more strategic, moves and the need to have foresight and a good bench to last you through the week. And with the advantage of bidding for all free agents throughout the year.
Categories are a roto / saber hybrid:
Runs (R), Home Runs (HR), Stolen Bases (SB), Total Bases (TB), Fielding Percentage (FPCT), Batting Average (AVG), On-base + Slugging Percentage (OPS);
Wins (W), Losses (L), Strikeouts (K), Total Bases Allowed (TB), Earned Run Average (ERA), (Walks + Hits)/ Innings Pitched (WHIP), Saves + Holds (SV+H)
The draft is Thursday, March 21st at 9pm EST / 6pm PST. If interested, join up -- but if you clearly aren't participating early on, then you'll get the boot. Join in and stick with it and this will be a great league.
