I have basically the same roster setup you do in my keeper (1 extra util), 12 teams, that's been very successful, We keep 7 players (no position limits). League turnaround is averaging about 1 or 2 teams per year. It really all depends on the dedication level of your league members. And a lot depends on whether they have the drive to rebuild or not if they finish low in standings. Good luck!.

I am in a league that has 5 keepers and 1 additional minor league keeper. What the commish did to make it interesting is that where you drafted a guy is where he will cost you next yr + 1 rd proggressively each year. FA pick ups were last round of the draft. So if you draft effectively u can improve your team each year . This also helps the weaker teams because those teams with less keepers traded with teams that had extra keepers.
Case in point I got Shields who this guy had in the 7th rd and in exchange he got Howard (7th rd), Jesus Montero ( 20th rd) and Jeff Samardzija (18th rd). No way would this trade happened w out the rds attached to them . Just an idea I love it in my league

Well, based on all of the dynasty and keeper leagues looking for owners, I'd suggest you go with a fairly low number. Owner turn over would also weigh on your decision. If you lose 1-3 owners per year and it's always the teams that have been picked over by vultures..... remember it is hard to find a legit owner that's willing to take a team with 2, 3 or 4 possible keepers (real ones) and the league is keeping 10 or 20 deep. There is no way to fix a roster like that so it ends up dead weight. In a league 16-20 deep, placing last every year and getting 1st pick in a shallow draft will probably take a person 15 years to un-screw himself. Do you know anyone that dedicated? LOL............doubtful as most leagues don't last that long.
