Commissioner Corner Message Board
I am looking for managers for a 10 team Head to Head league, featuring an offline draft, which drafts teams instead of players. Each manager gets to draft 3 teams in a serpentine order. Those 3 teams are exclusive to thier managers, making the players exclusive as well, meaning there are no trades during the course of the season and no need for a bench either. Once the league has all 10 managers, we will start the draft. Each manager will have 24 hours to take thier turn drafting a team until all 30 team have been drafted. If you miss your turn, you will be bumped to the next pick in order. Draft order will be determined by managers picking thier own draft positions. First come, first served. Until all the teams have been drafted, your team's name must be your draft position (Example: Draft Position 4 is Team 4), and once all the teams have been drafted, your team's name must include all 3 of the teams that you have drafted. If you find that one of your players has been traded in real life to a team that you do not own, you are allowed to keep that player, but only if they remain on your active roster and you must announce that your player has been traded.
This league uses a total of 19 stats. The batting stats used are R, HR, RBI, SB, CS, BB, K, AVG, and OPS. The pitching stats used are W, L, CG, SV, K, HLD, ERA, WHIP, QS, and BSV.
This league also has different roster requirements that more closely resemble an MLB roster, featuring 14 position players and 11 pitchers. These roster requirements are as followed: 2 C, 2 1B, 2 2B, 2 SS, 2 3B, 4 OF, 5 SP, 5 RP, and 1P. As previously noted, due to the fact that the players on the 3 teams that you draft are exclusively yours, there is no need for a bench, and therefore there is no bench. Finally, this league features a 10 transaction limit per week and 100 for the season.
The Post-Season will have a total of 4 teams; 2 division winners and 2 wild card teams.
This info will also be posted in the league itself for future use.
If interested, please post both your email address and the draft position you are wanting to have. If you have any questions, please post them as well. Thank you and good luck to everyone this season.
