for the first ever draft a snake draft is more reasonable... this is because in a 14 team league the teams drafting 11-14 are not getting a "top 10" player yet they are getting 2 players within the top 20. so in general a snake draft insures a more competitive league because the teams will be more balance... besides how far is it that the number one draftee gets 2 top 15 players which would include the #1 overall

As Mark said with only four keepers (I presume you lose the first 4 rounds) there is not much of an impact of the keepers so I would with the snake draft.
