If I lay down, and bench every one of my players, I am just about guaranteed victory. If I start the 5 pitchers I picked up "just in case", and they all blow up, bad ERA, bad WHIP, I could lose just enough points that the 2nd place team overtakes me. If I start my hitters, and they go hitless on day, and 2nd place team has a great day, he can take the points in average to put him on top.
The safe play to assure victory is to sit everyone. The 3 points I could gain, would be nice, but if I fail, I lose. 99.9% chance I win the league, by laying down. 95% if I start everyone. Is it right? I dont care, I WIN!!!!
