INF? No negative pts on ERA or WHIP???

Seriously what is this #$%$? My opponent had reliever Joe Nathan on Thursday night... He came in gave up 3 ER's and chalked up a loss... Only thing that worked was the Loss column.. besides that my opponent didn't even get a dent on his WHIP and ERA?? I understand the Infinity you cant divide the 0.. but seriously there has to be a calculation that blows up the WHIP ERA totals?? is there not??

  3 runs won't make too much of a dent on a team's ERA if they have enough shutout innings to cancel it out. Same with WHIP. If he had a couple of good/great starts from his other pitchers, he can absorb the hit from Nathan pretty well.
