Verlander earned a quality start on July 26th

Verlander only gave up 2 runs through 6 complete innings on July 26th. Needs to be given a Q S

  To earn a quality start, a pitcher must FINISH the game giving up 3 earned runs or less in 6 or more innings. Verlander gave up 5 runs in 7 innings, therefore it was not a quality start.
