we are all offering opinions here, so mine is this: if the Nationals are in the race he will pitch more. I think the Nats will reduce his innings in the summer like last night.. The guy had 13 K's by the sixth and is pitching a gem, yet they took hum out, Expect more of that and don't be scared to hold on to him.
Nats have said there isn't a hard cap, and if they're still in playoff contention, they will probably lift it (or make him rest longer in between starts). Otherwise, they'll probably sit him once he hits 160 or 170 innings.
I think he will have an inning cap.
he is too young and too talent and means to much for the team.
Risk his long term impact for one season does not make sense.
I would trade him now if I can get back some good pieces.
