Commissioner Corner Message Board
I am currently looking for about 11 owners to fill the 2 leagues for this season. I have been running football/baseball leagues since 2007 and the formats/formulas are designed to make an owner draft a real team. The leagues are only looking for active, knowledgeable, baseball fanatics. In these leagues you not only need to draft well, you will also need to manage your teams match-ups accordingly. There is a number of different strategies you can employ to win the leagues. These are cash leagues with a number of different payouts to keep everyone engaged the full season.

The good news for new owners in these 2 leagues is that you are getting in on the ground floor and all players are available.
You can respond here or email me (I prefer you email me). We will do a short phone interview to make sure you are a good fit for us and vise versa.

The buy in for MLFB 3 is $100 for your team and $100 deposit on moves. This league will have a free agent auction 3 times per week in which you can bid anywhere from $1-$5 on a player. You still have a 4 move per week limit, but you also have a total free agent budget for the year of $120. The season is 23 weeks so you will have to monitor your budget accordingly. If you average $1 per move all year you can max out on moves, which would be 92. If you average $2 per move you would only be able to make 60 moves all year. Tuesday, Friday, Sunday at 11am is when the transactions will be completed so you will have to plan ahead a little to supplement areas of need.
The buy in for MLFB 2 is $100 for your team and a deposit on trades and waiver claims of $100. It is $1 per waiver move and $10 per trade. You can make no more than 4 waiver moves per week. There is 23 weeks in our season so a total of $92 can be spent.
