  • Which 5th Keeper?

    Lawrie - 3B

    Need one of the above to go with Kemp, Longoria, Kershaw and Strasburg.

      That is a tough one because you already have Longoria for 3rd. I personally don't know...

      That is a tough one because you already have Longoria for 3rd. I personally don't know why Lawrie is going so high in the drafts. He hasn't proved anything yet. I think I would keep Craig Kimbrel because he is the #1 closer in the draft, and then you also don't need to worry about getting one of the top closers in the draft. You could get some of the middle tier closers instead.

        I agree. Usually I shy away from picking top notch relievers for anything, but Kimbrel is a young guy and his stats are insanely good. That being said, Lawrie has a pretty bright future himself. But, like he also said, you have Longoria already and the need to keep another 3B, who is basically a prospect yet, really isn't that great, especially when looking at such a top-notch young closer. (Worst comes to worst and you need a 3B, Kimbrel is great trade bait)
