Just looked at the Top 25 players based on my league's scoring system. There are some outliers, namely: Konerko, Huff, Weeks, Beltre, and Pierre (Im leaving Bautista out of the conversation for now).
Anyway, Im thinking most if not all of these guys will still be available in the late-middle to late-late rounds (except maybe Weeks).
Should I target one of these guys a little earlier? Who has the best chance to repeat as an impact player?
thx-

These guys are oddballs because they are in the top 25 - I certainly wouldnt draft them earlier - The guys who got pushed out of the top 25 would be the ones to target earlier - let someone else have top 50 talent in the first few rounds and cash in!!!

Konerko - yes, he has always been a big producer and a .280-35-100 campaign is easily do-able for him. Pierre is always good for a decent BA and 60+ SB (not much else, maybe some R). Weeks is good because 2B is scarce, but don't expect too too much. Beltre will regress, but he'll still be a useful option. .280-25-100 type line. Huff is always a gamble and you should generally avoid him.

I think Grady Sizmore is ranked so low in the 120s. I think he's going to have a big year this year.
