Commissioner Corner Message Board
I'm in the same boat. Johan isn't pitching like himself.
He isn't pitching like he was a month ago, eve.
He's pitching like he was last year when he insisted there was nothing wrong and everything was OK... right before he went out for season-ending surgery.
I have a feeling his arm is done, but I can't bring myself to drop him until it is confirmed.
For now, Johan is a sit-and-wait player. Treat him like Strasburg in May.
clay has been great as of late, the kid has some good stuff. trade johan before you drop him. granted, he is looking long in the tooth, but he still carries value.
i really don't see anyone you can drop. tough call.
