Don't drop him, his percent owned is a high percentage which means a lot of people own him. And I think thats a good thing.
Even if he is in a "Slump", don't do it. Take David Ortiz for an example.In the beginning of the season he was in a huge "Slump" but then he got right back into it. If you want to drop him then go right ahead. BUT, I suggest trading him to get more value of him for letting him go.
