    Protestable trade?

This trade has been accepted in my league. I personally have no issue with it, but I have 2 managers emailing me begging me to veto it.

    Team A gets Sandoval

Team B gets Haren and Frank Fransisco

Do any of you feel this a protestable trade? I think it may be lopsided, but not vetoable.

    • That's a great trade. Nothing wrong with it at all. I would make the managers explain in good detail what they find wrong with it. My guess is they just want to complain but won't bother writing a paragraph to defend themselves.

    • The real judgement is whether it made both teams better. But Haren is a top pitcher and Francisco is a mid-tier closer that some say could move up toward the top tier if he stays healthy. Sandoval is a great hitter in a bad lineup, which limits his RBI and Run categories. I don't think it is lopsided as long as the team that got Haren needed pitching and it made that team better. I'm assuming the managers feel that Sandoval should have garnered more value in a trade. If it is the other way, then they are clueless.

    • It is not a matter of cheating, collusion, or an obvious giveaway... those are the only legitimate grounds for a veto. It is totally fair. Keep it.

    • no its fair -- Haren is an ace and sandoval a stud it just depends on thier teams needs
